1966 National Studio 66

AKA “Route 66”. Quite expensive in its day with thick Brazilian rosewood fingerboard, exclusive Kluson tuners with unique buttons, big National logo on “Gumby” headstock, pearl dots, made of fiberglass like Corvettes of the period. This one is in nice clean shape. The pickup is like an Esquire on steroids and the plastic cover more unique than any other model on the planet. Steep headstock pitch with a 24&3/4″ scale length. Floating tail gives looser tension. A blast to wear on stage. Neil Young found one, now you did too. Comes in newer hard case.
