1961 Gretsch 6120

Out of stock

Faded Western Sunset Orange with unusual flamed maple body, EX-. Cool transitional example with pearl horseshoe inlaid on headstock (gone by late ’62) and early screw-in mute. Looks like a repro pickguard but a correct non-signpost style. 24 & 3/4″ scale length, 2 & 1/4″ body depth. All stock (sans pickguard) with gold Grover Sta-Tites and original Filter’Tron pickups, bridge, Bigsby, and brass knobs. Killer-sounding, easy action, and a very fetching guitar to look at. No cracks, very rare with flamed body. Take a good look at other examples online, how many do you see with this much flame? Comes in original grey Gretsch hard case…and the coolest faded color we’ve ever seen.
