Sunburst, Sunburst, we’ve known of this classic Gibson local guitar and its one owner for a while. Officially, it is a Southerner Jumbo (three syllables) as it was conceived by Gibson salesmen in the southern US. It has a Brazilian Rosewood fingerboard with double parallelogram inlays, seven layers of binding, Brazilian bridge (looks original). Has some strap damage to the finish on the back, reglued braces and a repaired 3″ crack on back. Has a nice medium large neck profile, original frets which are dressed and have 70% life left, and replaced Kluson tuners. Comes with the original soft shell case. Consigned.
