Near mint with an exception. First it’s one of the cleanest tweed bassman amps we’ve seen, HJ on the tube chart. The Godfather of all cool amps. Just ask Jim Marshall who copied this famous but hard to find in the UK design for his famous JTM-45.

The tweed is clean. The P-10R speakers all match perfectly with the same 220 839 (39th week of ’58) code. Has one Tung Sol brown base and one RCA brown base 5881 power tube which are valuable tubes these days. The control panel is clean.

But here is the exception. The amp had a Knight KN-701 Reverberation unit installed. A rather ingenious tube driven reverb licensed by Hammond organ. This appears to be installed in Minneapolis in 1975. Two holes were drilled for the send and return into the chassis. It works only on channel two. We were skeptical but it really works kinda great. The original installation and instruction print out is included. There is control on the back panel of the cabinet. It could be removed but not by us.

The rest of the amp is really really clean. So if you’ve always wanted one of these legends, this one is uniquely cool. Comes with the original cover.
