1950’s Oahu Iolana Double Neck Steel
$850.00In stock
Double six string steel guitar. Made by Valco who famously made the split coil hum cancelling pickup. A sought after pickup that’s been pulled from other lap steels and built into other guitars. Joe Perry of Aersomith has used such.
These double necks with six strings are perfect for most guitar players. It’s 23” long scale with an easy to read fretboard and two tunings. The previous customer had about $120 in service done including new tuner buttons, fresh flat wound strings tuned for C6 and open G.
There is a black tipped selector switch between the two black palm covers. Plus one white knob is master tone for both necks and the other is a master volume control. The tuners work, the pots are clean and the pickups sound great. There is no peeling of the pearl drum coverings and the gold hardware still looks great. Comes with the original Geib hard case, cord and a Stevens bar. Try it, you’ll love it.
