Sunburst, solid carved top, 16” bout, 25.5” scale, 3.5” deep. Laminate flamed maple back and sides, back, sides, top and neck all “sunbursted” checker board binding on body . This was made by Regal (pretty sure) but the top was rather dead so we took it to a violin maker to fix and now its a night and day difference for the better. Also had a fresh neck reset, which saves about $1000 altogether. The back came off and the top re-carved. Yes, the top was re-carved by our mandolin maker Finn. Very cool. Yes, we are crazy to even care but it was a bet with Finn. He won. Wow, what a great sounding guitar now. And the fresh neck set means low action and great volume and projection. It’s very pretty too with laminate flamed maple, great color and easy action. Comes with a newer case.
