1928 National Style One Tricone

In stock

For as long as I can remember National triplates were held in high esteem. German Silver body with nickel plating. With the three resonators serving the same purpose as an archtop to smooth out any resonant frequencies. So these were mechanically high tech in the day. Not to mention the art deco design, for those that buy strictly as industrial design art objects. Butter smooth tone and original round (Spanish) neck. These are very hard to find. This one is in great condition with original neck, fingerboard, neck binding and no seam splits in body. The body is in great shape. The “nits” are: missing logo (they fall off), capo marks on the back of the neck and some somebody’s name scratched in the back of the headstock. Your new triplate is named “Ray …Jr.” Comes with the original tuners, screw in the original hard case. A very hard to find legend. Consigned.
