1920’s Weissenborn Style 2 Tenor Uke

In stock

Herman Weissenborn was famous of course for his square neck acoustic Hawaiian guitars but made a few ukuleles (as well as tenor guitars we hear). These are highly coveted for tone and the tenors are the rarest of the bunch. The koa is very flamed and style 2 had rope bound neck, body and soundhole. The fingerboard is strikingly flamey. This has upgraded tuners and is crack-free and comes with a 50’s hardshell violin case. Very rare!
