Acoustic Flat Top1977 Larrivee Presentation Cutaway Model

The top of the line one off custom guitar. Like the Martin D-45 these seldom seen model had abalone trim everywhere, top back, sound hole and even in the cutaway. Also note the inlays around the heel of the guitar. No guitar maker takes this much care and work unless it is also the choicest of woods. The unique fretboard inlay has a very cool vibe to it one of the coolest unique inlays we have seen. Larrivee moved to Victoria Island British Columbia in 1977 (until 1982). This guitar is a very early presentation! If made today this guitar might not have the quality of woods available and the custom inlay would likely take over a year and surely be over $12K in real cost and good luck getting it done. Take a look at the headstock inlay. Try to find another like it…anywhere. With here green abalone hair, silver lariat flowing from her hand up to a pair of pearl inlaid doves. Simply fascinating.

We have sent this guitar through our shop for a clean bill of health.
