Ukuleles & Banjo Ukes, Tenor, BanjosNew Bischoff 1608 Bon Iver Tenor Uke

In 2012, Master Luthier Gordy Bischoff teamed up with longtime friend, Justin Vernon, the Grammy-award winning singer/songwriter and front man of Bon Iver, to develop "The 1608" a baritone guitar made with original white oak from Bushmills Irish Whiskey barrels in his instrument shop located in Eau Claire, Wisconsin. Entitled "The 1608", this recent collaboration aims to support "Since Way Back", a local charity that promotes artistic development around the Eau Claire community.

This artisan crafted Tenor Uke comes from that collaboration.
White Oak whiskey barrel back and sides, which hosts dozens of rounds "Whiskey in the Jar". Spruce top for clear mid range and punch, hand inlayed rising sun rosette and bridge adornments. Ebony fingerboard with ebony buttons on modern tuners.
"whiskey barrel" head stock overlay. Hand made spruce braces solid enough for the late Saturday night jams but delicate enough for Sunday morning redemption.
One of the most unique features, Cork spout cut a way!
with hard shell case $2500
