From the earliest run. Black, EC+. Maybe one of the coolest examples out there as it has factory '61 pots and pickups. Neck pickup original PAF...say again: Factory original PAF in neck ("patent sticker" humbucker in bridge). It is believed that they were using up some old parts, bodies, and necks when the model was reintroduced in 1968...this is maybe evidence of that. Remarkable tone with the best neck pickup of any guitar in the store right now. No breaks or mods except a pro refret (you're welcome). It even comes with original '61-era case. The electronics cavity is cut only through the mahogany part of the guitar and not the maple (thus the old long-shaft pots were needed, we suppose). A worthy investment. On consignment. We'd like to add: Many mid 70's Hamer guitars had original PAF pickups. We knew guyts that would go to the Kalamazoo factory to get old parts that were still around 10-13 years PAF pickups included.
