Custom color, Polaris White, still big neck with 1 11/16th nut width. Period-typical factory-original mix of nickel and chrome hardware. Gibson's SG Special was at the same price point as Fender's Stratocaster so they usually had the "me-too" tremolo like this baby has. The white finish was an upcharge. This one has been played and it shows but because of that it plays and sounds great. Big dings in finish where it sat on a stand, and there is finish checking throughout.
This was on consignment but now we own it so it's currently going through the shop as you read this for detail work - dressing frets, checking the bridge, cleaning the pots, etc. Leave the tremolo on and use heavier strings for full chords or bypass it by wrapping the strings around the bridge, lower the action, and get your Tony Iommi on. Newer case and lower price at $4500
