Acoustic Flat Top1968 Epiphone Frontier
Natural finish, Spruce top, very beautiful walnut stained figured maple back and sides, bound rosewood fingerboard with split block inlays, 7 ply top binding, 5 ply back binding. This one is crack free but has a replaced compensated bridge saddle and Schaller tuners. This one is 1.5" at the nut which is typical for the late sixties era. The action is nice and low all the way up the neck. The neck is nice and straight too. It does have some finish checking on the top and back and some wear through the finish as you can see in the photos. The tone is classic vintage Gibson, nice, bright, crisp, loud and authoritative. This one comes with a later Gibson hard shell case. $2000
