Just in from Dr. Z, a Route 66 head with matching 1x12" cabinet. 32 watt head with matching 1x12" cabinet, EF86 preamp, 2 x KT66 output section, non-negative feedback phase inverter, GZ34 rectifier, volume, bass, and treble controls, handwired in Ohio. The 8-ohm cabinet contains a Celestion Vintage 30 and features a removable center panel for partially open-back sounds. Huge and dynamic "Bluesbreaker" tone, plenty of headroom but breaks up beautifully, amazingly tight bass response, simple but versatile controls, superb build quality, great cosmetics. $1799 for the head and $549 for the cabinet
