Bass1967 Fender Precision Bass

Meet "Grandpa" a 1967 Fender P-Bass with what’s left of it’s original finish (No it was not refinished yellow). The guitar has been on tour and played so often it’s original finish is worn down to it’s original base coat. There is nothing added to Grandpa’s finish.

Cool Story: Ned Davis of Memphis bought this bass new. Ned played steel guitar and toured with Jerry Lee Lewis. Ned loaned the bass to Randy Wilks who played it with Jerry Lee for several years. Anybody who played with Ned had to play "Grandpa" because it was so badass. This has played with Eddie Rabbit and Reba Mcintire too. Why? Just look at it. How do you think it sounds? Ned passed away in 1995 and we got it from his old pal John Paul who shared the story to share with you. $5500 $5500 On Hold
